Welcome to Vermont Tennis Club

We are a community tennis club that welcomes new members of all types: beginners, competition players, social players, young and old and those in between.  As a club we offer friendships, coaching, social events, barbeques and, of course, the occasional work party.

Our clubhouse and courts are located in a quiet park, well away from traffic noise.  It provides excellent parking.  Members may book the clubhouse for evening celebrations.

Our members are involved in numbers of tennis competitions in which teams of 2 to 6 players compete with teams from other clubs for six month seasons.  Each team generally has 1 to 4 members more than is required for the weekly matches, to allow time off during each season.

Join our congenial groups that enjoy night tennis after a stressful day of work.  They often toss a shrimp on the barbeque.

Vibrant coaching classes suit new and experienced players of all ages.  Our club coach actively seeks new younger players from surrounding primary schools.  Many of our current members have progressed through these coaching sessions to play at top levels in pennant and state level competitions.

Parents of our younger members have formed lasting friendships with other parents.

As well as member use, our six courts are available for hire by general members of the public.

Individual, junior, senior and family memberships are available.  All members receive a key to the clubhouse and the courts allowing easy access to our facilities.

We are pleased to acknowledge the excellent assistance provided by the city of Whitehorse.
